Lengthier than other previous novels by this author, this book nevertheless is much like them. Impossible situations suddenly turn into funny, entertaining and exciting ones with a bunch of interesting characters for whom the readers can't stop cheering for. Sam was shy, sweet, humble and just what an attractive, cursed and betrayed wizard needed in his life. Their romance was sweet, action-filled and of course full of magic. Gotta say though that the identity of the bad guy was kind of obvious...unlike the sudden appearance of Sam's sister! Now that I wasn't expecting.
