Can't say it wasn't some creative and intense reading. The plot is very well done, the background and the support characters were great and the romance was really sweet and interesting. I really liked both characters and found their relationship quite solid. At first, I thought the dreams about the house were just a little too whimsical and unnecessary but it turned out quite entertaining too. Also gave the novel some lightness and fun to counterpoint the seriousness of their pasts and mistakes. Really good. Overall, it was a nice read and totally deserves my rating.

I heard a world of good about this book and it wasn't exactly wrong but...for me, it wasn't that great either. I don't really deny that Valerio really loved Tristan or Tristan loved Valerio but, boy, that relationship sure was dysfunctional. The fact that everything ended up okay doesn't exactly erase the kidnapping. I mean, I ended up getting over it 'cause it wasn't bad but it was there. And the whole Stockholm syndrome kinda freaked me out even after Tristan got better. I just couldn't help remembering all he said during that time when he was trying to help Valerio out of prison later. Kinda made me wonder, you know? And that always hovered throughout the rest of the book...that shadow of doubt. So it wasn't all that and a bag of chips for me. Was I entertained? Yes. Definitely. Was it how I imagined? Nope. Did I like it? Meh. Not exactly sure to tell the truth. I expected better.

Surprisingly more comprehensive than any other books by this author (at least the ones I've read so far). The world-building is amazingly creative and complex and the characters are notably whole and captivating. Basically it's one of the best M/M paranormal romances I've read lately. The ending did get a little dramatic but it was intensely enjoyable and entertaining. I particularly liked seeing how Christian and Alec's relationship developed. Fast but not rushed or lacking. It was, instead, sweet, sexy and ridiculously romantic. Not perfect but well done anyway.

I liked it. I really, really liked it. The worldbuilding, the characters, the plot and the ending. I was kind of worried about that tho. I really couldn't see a solution besides what Logan had already offered and was starting to get suspicious about it all ending badly but fortunately it didn't. The HEA is perfect for these characters and I was really glad they got it 'cause they certainly deserved it after everything. Little detail about Robert from another book really made this better. Very well written.

The book? Not bad. The cover? Seriously horrible. I have to admit I imagined a guy with a cape and tights every time the name Simon showed up on the pages. I'm serious. I couldn't help myself. I only started seeing him like a normal dressing dude (as much as a long duster can be considered normal) about halfway through the story. Really bad choice of a cover, I tell you. If I was one for choosing my books by their cover...this would've been completely ignored. No, more like banished. *shudders*
Anyway, the plot in itself is good. There was some thought put into the characters background and the world-building is pretty creative too. Overall, it's a good piece of romance between two men who have felt and seen way too much. It is a HFN tho.

Well, I liked it well enough but I would've preferred more development to the story. The why they liked each other besides the burning attraction they both held. I would've liked to watch them slowly falling in love instead of a weekend full of hot and sweaty sex and suddenly they can't live without the other. Don't get me wrong, it's still romantic and sweet but way too rushed. This reads more like a premise instead of a full time novel and I would've liked the latter.

And yet, I know there is 2nd installment and I'm not reading it. Why, you ask? 'Cause, apparently the author decided to jump on the BDSM bandwagon and I'm way too tired of reading about it every other book to consider it now. I wasn't a fan before and after all the buzz left from Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James I'm even less of a fan now.

Way too fast saying "I love you" considering they had only met once before but hey that's how things work in fairyland. Things are always kind of perfect and neat. It was the first time I read about a cop with such an obvious dose of insecurity tho. Normally they're all about confidence and control and Riley was clearly the opposite in his personal life. But he was cute and likeable and Dane was sweet and flirty and I enjoyed them way too much anyway. Some editing would've been nice.

I really liked it. Unlike other menage books, this one actually dealt with all the troubles and worries that go along relationships besides all the joys of sex. You see how complicated things are multiplied by three and how love isn't always the cure for everything. That relationships take work and commitment and trust. That everyone needs to want it. That good sex doesn't replace communication. It was really solid in that respect. The three of them really try to be happy together and don't shy away from any problems with themselves, their friends and their families. It's really sweet and enjoyable. Nice HEA.

Not really sure what to say about this book. The sex is O.M.G. Super hot, hard and kinky. And I'm not much into kinky but I liked almost all of it anyway so you can guess the heat level was really high. But the other aspects of the book were pretty much ignored, like the background for the characters, the romance between them, the development of their intimacy. It was all rushed and basically felt incomplete. Besides there's not really a conclusion for me...and not much of a point for the whole thing either. Just lots of sex between three guys while two of them were twins. That's all. There's no evolution in their relationship, no personal growth, no moral of the story...nothing. The three rating star is purely sex related and I admit I'm feeling a little trashy for that.

And I think it would have been a nice touch to have extended the book a little just to see Finn honoring his word and returning the favor the homeless guy did him. Apart from that tho I loved it. Still true to all the others with great writing, great characters and great plot.

In reality, I wasn't amazed and wouldn't have missed anything if I hadn't read this book. The unreal HEA only made matters worse.

Entertaining and sweet. I wasn't exactly happy with Keegan's inability to admit to anyone he was gay throughout the whole duration of this story but that certainly made the coming out scene so much more intense. And it wasn't some big dinner or announcement either. Just a simple kiss on the mouth in front of some coworkers and I was proud as punch for him and Noah. Great scene. The HEA was certainly all kinds of sappy but exactly what I expected and I liked it anyway. The writing wasn't perfect but I mostly enjoyed it. My biggest problem was Dwayne (Keegan's partner on the rig) suddenly becoming Dwight in the middle of the novel. Totally out of the blue and nothing I haven't come to expect in this author's novels but...still pisses me off when I see it happening. Some other editing issues but nothing major. Solid plot. Interesting enough main characters. Great support cast. Adequate HEA.

A little bit more quirky with the sexuality angle and the modern tone but equally captivating for sure. Really liked the HEA (even tho it was expected) and seriously preferred the less gruesome but effective way of neutralizing the bad guy. All in all it's a good story and I'm glad I've read it.

I have no idea what to say about this book. In my defense, it was a free read attached to another book I wanted so I thought "What the Hell. Can't be that bad despite the ratings..." and, well, insight is a bitch. It's so clichéd it's not even funny. Five seconds into the book and they're having oral sex in something resembling a closet broom. After that they decide they want the whole shebang and they go to a hotel room but, of course they have to encounter a jealous ex-boyfriend along the way. Why? I have no idea since the encounter took less than a minute and nothing interesting actually happened. So...sex. They're having sex and this pearl appears: "You don't have to keep the shields up. I'm not like the other guys." Seriously? How would he know? In fact, how do YOU know he's trustworthy too? Pardon me but a few chance encounters and a blow-job doesn't make you a expert in each other. But the most awesome part is how in the middle of sex Jeremy is already thinking about love. And okay...did I read this wrong or only Jeremy climaxed? 'Cause I'm pretty sure Trace didn't.
You know...I could keep going. I found a new issue to complain about in almost every paragraph so this could take a while and I wasted enough time on this as it is, so I'll just finish this by saying I didn't care for this one bit. Oh and the grammar...It hurt my eyes so much.

Honestly? I expected better. Crispin annoyed me like Hell a number of times and it felt like Speed did all the talking and all the opening up throughout the whole book. He did get better towards the end but I was never really able to forget his previously idiotic moments. First time he acted out I could forgive 'cause he went though a lot and he hadn't really know much about Speed but later? After being together a number of times and seeing the way Speed treated him? Yeah. He was kind of an *ss always jumping to conclusions and not trusting Speed. And that lack of trusting was the more evidenced by him never even trying to bottom for Speed. Then again, I also think that was Speed's fault 'cause he let Crispin get away with a lot due to his past. A past he never really talked about either..not really. That didn't stop him from pressuring Speed about his tho. Gotta love dysfunctional relationships. So...overall, I liked the characters but didn't really see the appeal of them as a couple. The world-building was good too. There are a number of great supporting characters that really made a difference for me and the plot was pretty solid too apart from Crandall's death. That just jumped out of nowhere to generate conflict and I considered it pretty unnecessary to the story. So, it was captivating enough to keep me reading 'till the end but ended up disappointing me anyway with all the talk about the ranch changing hands and the lack of evolution from Crispin and Speed's relationship.

That epilogue sure was funny. Couldn't say I expected it but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Same with the rest of the book. It was full of action, romance and just plain fun. Only thing I'll complain about is the lack of more military attitude and men. Who wouldn't have loved more of that? Apart from that little tidbit, this novel was very well written with a captivating story and characters. Very entertaining.

While I enjoyed both sides of the story, both the modern and the 50's romances, I didn't enjoy reading them together. It was incredibly confusing at times, unnecessary and slow going. If they had been separate I believe I would've liked it better. In this way, I couldn't seem to focus on either thoroughly and I ended up curious about the ending but not willing to suffer anymore in order to actually finish. It was a real pity because I did like both romances.

I went back. Damn. I was too curious to stop reading it entirely. I'll still complain about both stories being so entangled with each other but ultimately? It didn't matter. I wanted to know the end.
Justice was done for the 50's couple. I expected their death and yet I still cried a little. Really happy for their closure with the murderer being found and arrested.
The modern couple. A little more difficult for me to relate to actually because they are so focused in Buck and Oliver that they kind of forget to get to know each other sometimes. I still liked them but wasn't as curious about.

Basically? Despite my issues with this book, it was still very good. Amazingly solid and well thought out. Nice HEA.

And, I'm sorry but, two wrongs never make one right. His troubled past doesn't excuse Paul's actions and Leigh's circumstances don't change the fact he fell in love with his kidnapper. I am amazed by how the author worked this tho. Brilliantly done even if I don't particularly like it.

Ridiculously good. Well written. Solid characters, background and world-building. Creative plot. Satisfying HEA. All I hoped for. Very well done. The sex scenes are explicit but not crude. The romance appears slowly and it's very sweet. Religion issues are seen throughout the whole book, mainly due to the fact that Luke is a monk and very fervent about his religion and the way he expects things to be. He comes as unwavering and firm from the beginning but we can actually follow his evolution towards a more accepting person. Same with Villam regarding the Empire and his arrogance of always being right. Very interesting seeing both characters learn with each other from such different sides of view.

While I loved the creativity involved in making this book, the mythology, the mysteries and every other piece of history, I wasn't very sold on this plot. I seriously liked the world-building and background (which is what I usually complain about regarding this author) but wasn't fond on most of the characters. Baz and Kellan were certainly worthy of love but the rest of them seemed a little too aloof and disconnected for my liking considering they were all supposed to be family to Baz. I also found Sekhmet a little creepy. Don't know if I'll want to read anymore about any of them.

Well while I did enjoy reading this story, I also felt a little disappointed by the ending. It's a HEA so it's not terrible but I expected more meaning behind everything. After a whole book saying Nash was half-shifter, if the author had no intention of pursuing the venue about his father, then she should've left the matter alone instead of introducing the fae too. It opened that field and never gave a conclusion making the whole book feel even more incomplete. Same thing about his supposed work with some weird agency. Basically, it was entertaining but not good enough. The lack of background and world-building pretty much annul the creative aspect and leaves us feeling cheated.
